What Is Group Travel Insurance And Why You Should Opt For It

GROUP travel insurance is insurance against risks travelers face when on travel irrespective of the purpose of the travel. In group travel insurance, all members of the traveling group are insured against specified risks under a master policy. Travel insurance is not mandatory under UK law, yet it is advisable that travelers opt for it in their own interests, whether they travel alone, with family, or with a group of travelers.

Following are a few of the major risks that can be covered under group travel insurance:

* Personal accident or injuries sustained in car/train/air/ accidents

* Injuries or death due to accident or terrorist attack

* Illnesses when on travel

* Loss of some or all personal / business items, including money and documents, at the airport, inside aircraft, at the hotel, or anywhere else when on travel

* Losses arising from delayed or canceled flights for any reason including inclement weather or terrorist threats

* Any other emergency that may arise in the course of travel until return to the home-base

It is important to note however that group travel insurance covers only those risks that are specified in the group travel insurance policy. Therefore, before you embark on a travel, you must check it out with the holder of the master policy (usually a company) the risks covered. You cannot assume that all possible risks are covered in every group insurance policy.

Finally, the importance of group travel insurance cannot be over-emphasized. The risks you face in normal life at your home-base are applicable even when you are on travel; in fact, risks are greater when on travel, particular if you are traveling to places where climates, food, and general law and order is different from what you are accustomed to. Some countries of the world have made travel insurance mandatory for their citizens undertaking foreign travel, though the UK is not yet one of them.

Nothing beats editorial articles and photos to increase mass awareness of a destination, promote a tour, sell trips or increase your arrivals. It’s great when you can get a qualified freelance or staff writer to visit and publish a glowing article and photo.

Who says you can’t write your own articles and get them published easily? You can!

If you have any inclination to write about your area of expertise in tourism, here’s a resource I highly recommend that will give you website traffic, quality inbound links and expert credibility too.

EzineArticles.com, where you reading this article, is an online searchable directory that allows you to post articles by topic for free. These guys get a ton of website traffic and have many travel and leisure related categories to place your articles. This can include a regional special events calendar, historical sites of interest in your region, wildlife, culture, little know facts or points of interest.

You get to make it up. In addition to the article you will need to create a compelling headline and 2- 5 sentence summary of the article so that people read it, visit your website and call you for more info and bookings.

Steps To A Succesful Online Travel Business

Most people earn money while traveling only when they have acquired years of service to an employer. Earning money while traveling is attainable without having years of experience with an employer if you have your own online travel business. A sucessful online travel business is possible with self-discipline and dedication to develop your business. The first step in developing any business must include a business plan that includes short-term objectives you seek to accomplish. You can begin marketing your business by telling your friends, family, and business associates about your online travel business and encourage them to book their vacations using your travel website. These individuals can then refer others to your website once they see how convenient it is to book travel. Distributing business cards is another significant way to market your business. Business cards show potential clients that you are serious about your business endeavor.

Training is also necessary to develop your business. Attending travel trade shows will allow you to participate in seminars and meet others in the travel industry. Reading travel trade magazines is another way to become educated on the latest travel trends. If you are passionate about traveling and enjoy telling others about your travel adventures, it is likely that your business will reap the benefits.

Travel Nursing Could Be The Most Fulfilling Thing You Will Ever Do

I love travel nursing. With travel nursing I’m not stuck in one place, and my employment takes me places I wouldn’t be able to travel if I didn’t have a job to take me there. Travel nursing allows me to meet new people, and see new places, and the wonderful thing is that with this nursing job I get to decide how long I stay.

I love travel nursing. I get paid premium wages, excellent benefits, and I even get free quality, company housing with many of my jobs. I never have to pay the rent. I don’t have heating bills, electric bills, or any of the normal household expenses most people have, so travel nursing allows me to make good money, and also save it for the future when I do decided to settle down.

However, I love travel nursing so much, I don’t know if I will ever go to a regular nursing job where I am stuck at one place, basing my hours and vacations, and life on other people’s schedules. I love travel nursing because I can choose where and when, and the only thing that stops me is availability of the nursing position where I want to be.

The thing I love most about travel nursing is that it is so in demand these days. I can spend a week in California, by the beach, and the next month do a long stay in Vermont and ski the mountains. Travel nursing gives me flexibility I never dreamed of when I was studying to become a nurse, and that’s why I love that I made travel nursing my career choice.

Learn About VA Homes For Sale

Like HUD repo’s, VA homes are sold through a bidding system by real estate agents. However, VA homes are much cleaner. The veteran’s administration partially fixes their repossessed VA homes. They may also extend financing options to the seller that may include fewer costs, lower interest, and no repayment penalty. VA homes are not difficult to qualify for and you don’t have to be a veteran to be approved.

Having a real estate agent is a great way to go when purchasing VA homes. This is because procedures involved with government owned properties are consistently subject to change. In fact, the process involved with VA homes is currently undergoing changes right now.

The FDIC, Freddie Mac, IRS, SBA, GSA, and Fannie Mae are lesser-known government agencies that also list repossessed homes. Though HUD and VA homes are more popular, these rare listings have selling prices nearer to market value and are usually cleaned and fixed up before listing. Your way to Foreclosure investing

Purchasing VA homes and other foreclosures means dealing one on one with the property owner and at times the lender as well. The point is to reach an agreement that is beneficial to all parties involved.

It is a common myth that VA homes may have title problems. Many times people believe that the property may be subject to liens and judgments. This is actually not the case. Lien holders are held in sort of hierarchy that determines who has first dibs on a foreclosure. When the VA homes go to auction, the senior lien holder or lender with first dibs will bid on a property if they want it. Only if they don’t want it will it go to another lender in which case all other liens are then cleared away.

Kit Homes: Popular for Over a Century

Kit homes, or homes that come in pieces ready for assembly, are not a new phenomenon. Back in the nineteenth century, people all over the United States could open their Sears, Roebuck catalog and order one of several styles of homes that would be loaded onto a train and shipped to the customer. Craftsman homes in a few distinct styles can still be seen in just about every state in the Union, and are now considered historically valuable properties.

Kit homes may have lost their popularity for a while with the creation of post-World War II tract housing, but they’re back, with a few big changes. Now you can pretty much design your own home courtesy of a number of companies, deciding on one of a number of floor plans, before your building is created according to your specifications. And added to conventional homes are popular log cabin designs, geodesic domes, and minimalist kits which can be ordered room by room and put together using as many units as you want.

Most customers order kit homes for two reasons: cost savings and individual choice. Kit homes can cost substantially less than stick-built homes, primarily because the owners can do most of the construction work themselves. An added benefit is that, in many cases, the owners can actively participate in the design of the home, adding individual features that complement their own lives. The combination of substantial savings and the ability to individualize one’s home make kit homes a great deal.

Modular Homes Misconceptions and Myths

Many people mistakenly believe that modular homes are expensive, cost a lot to insure, are inferior to on-site homes, take longer to build, are lower quality, easily damaged, and that modular homes cannot be customized.

Fortunately, modular homes do not exhibit any of these misconceptions. While it is true that modular designs were fairly basic during the start of the industry, today’s technology and consumer demand for this product has made these homes virtually indistinguishable from traditional site built homes. Today, modular homes are constructed in sections or modules in a controlled factory environment. All modular homes are 80% to 95% built in factories and then transported to a foundation where it is then assembled.

To dispel some of the common misconceptions about modular housing take a little basic common sense research. First, Modular homes are less expensive on average than site built homes. A modular homes cost per square foot to construct is generally 15% - 25% less expensive than a comparable quality site-built home. Secondly, modular homes insurance costs are the same value as that of an on site homes.

In addition, on-site homes are not superior to modular homes for the simple fact that modular homes are more closely supervised and built in a factory-controlled environment which improves the structural quality of modular homes. On-site built homes are subject to weather exposure which can lead to future water damage problems and mold issues. Modular homes are often structurally stronger than traditional site built homes due to the fact additional framing and structural support is built into the module designs so they can withstand transportation load factors. On general wear and tear matters, just like any other home, modular homes are subject to weather damage, broken windows, and anything else a normal home would encounter.

On-site homes can take up to 4 to 6 months to complete, depending on season, and how long it takes to break ground and lay a foundation. Modular homes take 1 to 2 months from initial customer design to delivery of the home from the factory to the foundation. Finally, modular homes can be customized to the owners’ preference, or can be customized exactly like the homes in the surrounding neighborhood.

Motor Homes

Few things are better than traveling, enjoying, and staying close to nature. Whether it is for an outing with friends and family or on some work, motor homes makes such dreams come true. With all the comforts and luxuries of home, they help make a working assignment more easy and a family outing more enjoyable.

Hundreds of companies provide different types, sizes, designs, and colors of motor homes. Tiffin Motor Homes, Fleetwood, Foretravel, Winnebago Motor Homes, Buddy Greg Motor Homes, Damon Motor Coach, and Roadtrek are some companies which provide luxurious and functional motor homes with all basic amenities.

Motor homes are ‘living units’ which are constructed on a chassis. They have all the amenities of a home such as bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, electricity, and many more. All that you need is a valid drivers’ license.

Different types of motor homes are available, all tailored to suit different needs. Class A (the bus type), Class B and Class C differ significantly in their size and other aspects. While Class A motor homes are large and roomy, Class C is usually held to be the safest, with air bags and seat belts. The convenience of Class B lies in its ability to be parked wherever one wishes, due to its size.

Diesel- and gas-powered motor homes are also available. Diesel is more fuel-efficient but also noisier than gas-powered homes, which are faster and hence provide better acceleration.

Motor homes can either be bought or rented. Some companies, like Poulsborv, Motor Home Rentals, Cruise America, Bates International Motor Homes and many more, offer homes for rent.

Rates for rental services vary, depending on the type of motor home chosen and other factors. A higher rate normally applies to certain busy months, while discounts are offered in other months.

With comfort and luxuriousness mingled, and usefulness and convenience even better than a hotel room, such motor homes are a must for anyone who wants a truly enriching holiday experience.

Modular Homes Manufacturers

With new kinds of technologies flooding the markets every day, the concept of modular homes has gained a lot of popularity. Modular homes are very different from site built homes and manufactured homes. While site built homes are constructed entirely on the location where the house is to be located according to the building guidelines of that particular region, manufactured homes are a more stylish version of what are known as mobile homes or trailers. On the other hand, modular homes are manufactured at factories in parts and then assembled by workers on the site.

Modular homes are less expensive than on site houses, also over a time, their value goes up. In addition to this, they are checked by officers to see whether they conform to all state, local and regional guidelines prescribed for building houses. The greatest advantage perhaps, of buying a modular home lies in the fact that before investing your money you can see a life-size model of your house to be. Some of the most reputed manufacturing companies of modular homes go back to as long back as the 50th decade of the 20th century.

The idea of modular homes may get associated with tiny non-livable accommodations when you think about it, but, a little research is sure to leave you astonished. Modular home manufacturers are today manufacturing modular homes the size of a ranch or even something in Victorian style.

These manufacturers have something for everyone. You can get yourself an economical Cape Cod house, which is small in size but is guarantee to keep you cozy, or a twenty six hundred square feet house, which resembles a mansion. The websites of some of these manufacturing companies are equipped with all details including floor plans and the pictures of what a finished house will look like.
